Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Iron Supplement Tablet (TTD) programme for adolescent girls in Pekanbaru City, focusing on the factors supporting and hindering its success, as well as providing recommendations for improvement to enhance the health of adolescent girls as an important part of human resource development. A qualitative descriptive approach was used with purposive sampling of 10 informants (health workers, teachers, and high school students). Data collection was conducted through direct observation, structured interviews, and documentation, analysed based on William N. Dunn's evaluation model, which includes effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The TTD programme is important for preventing anaemia in adolescent girls, but its effectiveness is still low. Improvements are needed through intensive socialisation, better budget allocation, and stronger coordination so that the programme can run optimally and have a positive impact on the health and productivity of adolescent girls in the future.
